Pure Cypress oilÂ’s powerful astringent properties makes it an outstanding treatment for eliminating BODY and FOOT ODOR and excess PERSPIRATION!
RECOMMENDED METHODS OF APPLICATION FOR BEST RESULTS:
REFRESHING FOOT BATH: Blend 5-8 drops pure Lemon essential oil and Cypress in a dispersant of 1 tablespoon of honey and add this mixture to a warm basin of water.
You may also add a 1/4 cup each of Epson Salts (muscle relaxant, detoxifier) and Baking Soda (skin softener) to your foot bath. Relax in silence or listen to your favorite Relaxation inducing music for a 10-15 minute foot bath!
FULL BODY SOAK: Follow the directions for a FOOT BATH increasing the drops of pure essential oil by 4 times as much or 20-30 drops. Add 1 cup each of Epson Salts and Baking Soda.
AROMATIC DEODORANT MIST ~ A favorite way of mine for using aromatic oils!
DIRECTIONS: Fill a 2 ounce colored glass atomizer/misting bottle with distilled water. Add 15-30 drops of pure Cypress oil, alone or blend with other pure essential oils. Allow the pure essential oils to synergize for 2-3 hours or more as time permits. Shake atomizer bottle well before misting body and underarm areas to control perspiration!
FOR A WONDERFUL DEODORANT BLEND try 1 or 2 of these pure essential oils with your Cypress oil: Geranium, Fennel, Juniperberry, Lavender, Lemon, Rosemary, Sandalwood.
CAUTION: Please avoid Cypress oil during pregnancy due to its circulatory and hormonal effects. If you do want to use Cypress oil while you are pregnant please consult a qualified professional aromatherapist, as it can be especially beneficial in certain situations.
PLEASE NOTE: There are many cheap, synthetic copies of aromatic oils, but these are not recommended for therapeutic use. For best results purchase the highest quality oils you can possibly find. Use certified organic essential oils, or oils that have been tested and are pesticide free.
