Dark Secrets
We all know as women how it works. Some how there is never enough time to look after ourselves let alone get the required sleeping hours. Many people tend to judge your lifestyle just by eye bags and have it completely wrong. Whether you have these bags due to aging, through hereditary reasons, lack of sleep, exposure to the sun, fluid retention, allergies, dehydration, stress, poor diet, smoking, lack of vitamin K or C, poor dieting or any other possible reasons. Want to know a load of secrets on how to hide those bags? That’s what I’m here for.
1. Cucumbers – they are a natural product that reduces the swelling. Replace the cucumbers as soon as they lose their chill. This treatment will only last for several hours.
2. Cold Compress/Mask – using this twice a day for 10-15 minutes will keep the swelling down and slower the process of the dark circles from developing. This will last for a short period of time.
3. Frozen/Cold Or Chilled Green Tea Bags – apply this directly under your eyes where the dark circles are for approximately 10-15 minutes everyday. Green tea bags contains natural anti-inflammatory properties. This will keep the swelling down for a short period however, over a certain period of applying this treatment it will slow down the development of bags under the eye.
4. Limitation On Cigarettes – not only are cigarettes bad for your health but, it has now been said and proven that they are one of the many factors to why people get dark circles/bags under there eyes. By reducing the amount you smoke it will reduce the amount that is under your eye. If you quit then they should disappear since they were the cause of it. 5. Sun Cream – by exposing your face too much in the sun, can create dark circles and bags under your eyes due to the heat and the radiation. By applying a minimum strength of 15 would help reduce and prevent them from developing. Sunglasses are very useful in preventing it’s development too.
6. Mint Leaves Crushed – are said to be another anti-inflammatory product that is cheap, smells good and works on keeping the bag’s swelling down.
7. Washing Your Face With Cold Or Lukewarm Water – by washing your face this way every morning and evening it has been said to reduce the swelling as the coldness from the water tends to relax the skin and construct the blood vessels.
8. Eye Cream – by applying eye cream everyday can reduce the bagging and reduce the swelling. Try to look for products that contain ALOE VERA, VITAMIN K, VITAMIN C and/or ALPHA HYDROXYL ACID. For those whom reasons are aging there are various products that provide specialized cream containing better properties to help provide better results than ordinary eye creams.
9. Drink Dandelion Tea – by drinking this tea it boost the kidney which is sometimes another factor to why some people get dark circles/bags.
10. Hydrating Facial Masks – they are cheap and by applying them twice a week they will help reduce the puffiness under your eyes and help with the discoloration.
11. Fluid Retention – is when the fluid is not removed from the tissue. Therefore, swelling especially under the eye are the many symptoms. If this is the reason why you have got bags under your eyes you need to drink plenty of water, reduce your sodium diet/intake, exercise as much as you can, avoid alcohol and keep a balanced diet.
12. Drink Water – sometimes we get bags through dehydration the minimum intake of water we should all have is around 1.5 – 2 litres a day. Try this out and if that is the cause then afterward it will go away.

14. Eye Roll Ons – they are both very popular and reliable. Majority of women have these in their make-up bags for emergency purposes. They contain the right properties to hide and reduce the swelling up to several hours or sometimes throughout the day. Try Garnier Eye Roll On, that’s what works best for me.
15. Cosmetic Fillers – collagen, botox, juvedern, restylane and more are all different types of cosmetic fillers. However, Restylane is a non-animal hyaluranic acid found in a human body. It is the safest under the eye treatment out of the whole bunch. These are done by inserting a small syringe under the eye. It gets rid of bags for up to 6 months and sometimes even last a year or longer.
16. Permanent Surgery – Eye lifts are one of the surgeries that many women get to get rid of bags permanently, by inserting a small probe into the eye bag and then melts the fat.
