Is it ok that I have used Canesten 6 day treatment during my pregnancy?
I spoke to the phamacist about treating a yeast infection (I am on penicillin) They said that Canesten 6 day is safe to use during my pregnancy (I am 28 weeks)! However I keep reading that it may not be safe, cause the applicator can damage the fetus! Is this true, and if it is why would the pharmacists not inform me? I am only on my second day, should I stop using the applicator?
i had yeast infection when i was about 28 weeks actually! and my doctor prescribed me canesten and said it is fine to use in pregnancy! i had the cream and the tablet you have to insert vaginally with the applicator thingy… cleared it up no problem and my babys fine! if it wasnt safe, doctors wouldnt give them to people .. x

Group Therapies and Education: Here, a group of people (usually six to twelve) are handled together for imparting education about the addiction. They are shown how their addictions are hurting other people and what they can do in order to remedy the situation. In some centers providing this kind of treatment for drug addiction in Rhode Island, families of the patients are also called in for counseling so that they can learn how to cope with the situation. The basic intention is to provide social rehabilitation for the patient so that they can find out more meaning in their addiction-free lives.
